Sasha Banks Returns To WWE Four Months After Last Appearance

"The Boss" is back...

Four months after disappearing from WWE programming following WrestleMania 35, Sasha Banks resurfaced on Monday's episode of Raw in Toronto.

Banks' return interrupted a Natalya promo. The two initially embraced, but just as Banks went for a mic, she turned and struck Natalya, targeting her injured arm (which was in a sling), and threw Natalya into the ring steps. During the segment, Banks removed her purple wig to reveal a new blue-haired look.

Becky Lynch attempted to make the save, but Banks struck her repeatedly with a steel chair, before sending her into the steps as well.

As noted, it marked the first appearance for Banks on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35, where she and Bayley dropped the Women's Tag Team titles to The IIconics in a four-way match. Her and Bayley reportedly didn't take the decision to switch the belts too well, and Banks went home afterward.

Rumors emerged later in the week following WrestleMania that Banks had asked for her release from the company. Banks reportedly met with Vince McMahon at one juncture toward the end of May.
