A Wrestle Kingdom 15 match was scrapped earlier today, only hours after New Japan Pro-Wrestling finalised the card. Juice Robinson was set to challenge KENTA for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship Right To Challenge Contract on January 4, but The Moonchild was pulled from the show due to injury.

New Japan noted an announcement about KENTA's opponent would be made "in due course," and that opponent has seemingly been revealed.

Following their tag team match during today's Road To Tokyo Dome show, Satoshi Kojima called KENTA back into the ring and challenged the Bullet Club member to a match at the Tokyo Dome. KENTA initially blew off the two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, but Kojima drilled him with a KojiCutter from out of nowhere.

If New Japan sanctions the bout, it will be Kojima's first title match in the company in over three years. He hasn't competed for a championship since he and Hiroyoshi Tenzan dropped the IWGP Tag Team Championship to War Machine at Sakura Genesis 2017.
