New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Satoshi Kojima made history at Sunday's CyberFight Festival show at the Saitama Super Arena as he defeated Go Shiozaki to capture Pro Wrestling NOAH's GHC Heavyweight Championship.

With the win, Kojima became only the fourth man in history to have held all three of puroresu's major titles - the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, the Triple Crown Heavyweight Title, and the GHC Heavyweight Championship. The three other talents to have accomplished the feat are Kensuke Sasaki, Yoshihiro Takayama, and Keiji Muto.

Kojima is a two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion in AJPW and a two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion in New Japan. He was also the first person to hold both titles simultaneously.

The 51-year-old has been a regular in NOAH since April of 2022. He will face former GHC Heavyweight Champion Kenoh in his first defence of the gold on July 16 inside the Nippon Budokan.

Kojima's last appearance in NJPW came on April 7 during the Hyper Battle tour when he teamed with Yuto Nakashima against Yuji Nagata and Kosei Fujita.
