Satoshi Kojima Wants Match With Samoa Joe

Satoshi Kojima wants to face Samoa Joe

Satoshi Kojima has done it all in professional wrestling, from being the first and only man to hold the IWGP  Heavyweight Championship and Triple Crown at the same time, to being one of two men to hold both titles, plus the GHC Heavyweight and NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championships.

But one thing Kojima has never done is wrestle Samoa Joe. And he wants it to happen.

Kojima recently took on CM Punk in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, losing to the ‘Second City Saint’ at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Had Kojima won he would have taken on Joe in the Semi Finals, and made his feelings known about the ROH World TV Champion on Twitter:

“On June 25th, if I had beaten CM Punk, I would have fought Joe at this time. It's my dream to fight Joe. I hope that someday it will come true.”

The odds of Kojima vs. Joe are seemingly quite high, with the working relationship between AEW and NJPW stronger than ever. With both men advancing in years though, they’ll want to pull the trigger sooner rather than later.
