Stephen Amell Heading To WWE Raw
Stephen Amell has been working on a project with WWE
Hollywood actor Stephen Amell is set to be in attendance at next week's episode of WWE Raw, which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia.
Amell made the announcement on his Facebook page.
The Arrow star is a close friend of Cody Rhodes and has worked with WWE in the past. Amell teamed with Neville to defeat Cody's alter-ego Stardust and King Barrett at SummerSlam 2015. Outside of WWE, Amell made appearances for Ring of Honor and wrestled Christopher Daniels at All In 2018.
Amell is currently promoting the second season of his TV show Heels, which premieres on the Starz network on July 28. AEW star CM Punk - as well as Punk's wife AJ Mendez - have roles in the series.
During a live signing for Whatnot in early June, Amell noted that he has been working on a project with WWE that will come out around the same time as the second season of Heels, saying:
"I haven't done anything with AEW. I've done stuff with WWE. AEW feels like it might be a little bit more of a natural path right now but I also am involved in a project for the WWE that comes out right around the same time as the second season of Heels comes out so it's like, I don't know. These are champagne problems (he smiled)".
