While Scarlett Bordeaux had been alongside Karrion Kross (now Killer Kross) throughout his WWE run, that all changed in the summer of 2021 after the then NXT Champion was called up to the main roster and began appearing on Monday Night Raw.

Scarlett first didn't accompany her fiance to the ring on main roster shows and then she stopped being by his side on NXT as well, leaving Kross alone on TV for his final NXT feud with Samoa Joe.

At the same time Kross was called up to the main roster, Scarlett was competing in dark matches before Raw and SmackDown and WWE were looking to book her as a Superstar as opposed to a manager. She ended up spending time off TV, though, due to an issue with one of her breast implants.

"I wasn't medically cleared yet. I was having matches before Raw and SmackDown because they wanted me to wrestle. After the second match, everything was going great. I got home that night, looked in the mirror, and I'm like, 'One of these doesn't look like the other,'" Scarlett revealed on Oral Sessions.

"The next day was NXT and I immediately went to medical. I'm like, 'I'm not crazy, but did I always look like this?' With the adrenaline from wrestling, I didn't even notice, like certain things hurt all the time so I didn't think anything of it. I went to medical, and they said, 'Oh my God, yes, one of your boobs is totally gone,'" she continued.

"I was like, ok, I can get the surgery, then I can manage and be at ringside. I just can't wrestle right away, but the plan was, I guess, was for me to wrestle. They said, 'When you're totally cleared we're going to have you wrestle.' So they scrapped all the managing stuff at that point and I was sitting at home for those last four months just waiting."
