"Scissor Me Daddy Ass" Referenced On WWE Raw

Billy Gunn mentioned on WWE Raw

D-Generation X reunited for their 25th anniversary on Monday's episode of Raw from Brooklyn, New York. Not all of the stable's members were on the show, though, and Billy Gunn was absent from the reunion, seemingly due to his commitments with All Elite Wrestling.

Despite his absence, Billy Gunn was referenced on Raw, with Road Dogg performing his trademark introduction and allowing the crowd to shout Gunn's name. Raw Announcer Corey Graves then referenced "Scissor Me Daddy Ass!" by adding: "The other guy is doing something with office equipment these days."

Billy Gunn has become an incredibly popular member of the AEW roster as Daddy Ass alongside AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed and the faction are over with the audience through their "Scissor Me Daddy Ass!" catchphrase. The catchphrase has become so popular that fans have started scissoring in public and the scissoring Acclaimed shirt is a top seller on ShopAEW.

Alongside his on-screen appearances, Billy Gunn is a coach in AEW. He has been a part of the promotion since early 2019.
