Report: Renee Paquette Set To Sign With AEW, Could Debut This Week

Renee Paquette is reportedly heading to AEW

Following an initial report which stated that WWE thought Renee Paquette was AEW-bound, SEScoops have claimed the former backstage interviewer is expected to sign with All Elite Wrestling.

Her first appearance on AEW TV might also not be too far away, with it being noted that Paquette "could possibly debut...this week." Dynamite will be held in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday, October 12, which is Paquette's hometown.

Paquette is married to Jon Moxley, who recently signed a new five-year deal with All Elite Wrestling to keep him with the promotion through 2027.

Paquette previously spent eight years in WWE from 2012 until 2020. She had many roles with the company from backstage interviewer to commentator to host of WWE Backstage.

Since leaving WWE, Paquette has hosted her own podcasts and filmed content for WWE's specials on A&E. She also gave birth to her and Jon Moxley's daughter.

While she has seemingly opted to join AEW, Paquette did have the option to go back to WWE as part of their broadcast team shakeup, according to Dave Meltzer. She ultimately turned down the offer, though.
