Scott D'Amore Match Set For IMPACT Slammiversary

Scott D'Amore is returning to the ring at IMPACT Slammiversary

Scott D'Amore will be in action at the promotion's upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view. D'Amore has been booked to team with PCO against Bully Ray and Steve Maclin at the Saturday, July 15 event. Slamiversary this year is scheduled to emanate from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

D'Amore and Bully Ray have had issues for months and hostilities only worsened in May following the IMPACT World Title match between Steve Maclin and PCO at Under Siege as Bully Ray put D'Amore through a flaming table. D'Amore had been off TV since then but he returned at Against All Odds on June 9 and hit Bully with a chair during the 8-4-1 Match.

Ray filed an official complaint about D'Amore with Anthem Sports on the June 15 episode of IMPACT, only for D'Amore to interrupt Bully's complaints. D'Amore noted that IMPACT recommended he take a leave of absence over his actions at Against All Odds before D'Amore tackled the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Steve Maclin then headed to the ring to help Bully before PCO made the save for D'Amore.

To end the segment, D'Amore announced he was coming out of retirement, booking the tag team match for Slammiversary.

Already announced for the pay-per-view is Alex Shelley vs. Nick Aldis for the IMPACT World Championship and Deonna Purrazzo vs. Trinity for the Knockouts World Title.
