Scrapped Plans For 'Three Faces Of Charles Wright' WWE Return Revealed
We almost got The Godfather, Kama and Papa Shango in one match

In 1998, Mick Foley made history by appearing in the Royal Rumble match as three different gimmicks - Cactus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love.
His fellow WWE Hall of Famer Charles Wright may have repeated the feat in a similar match decades later, had things have been different.
During a recent edition of his Poddin' Ain't Easy podcast, Wright revealed that there were plans to have him compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal as Papa Shango, Kama and The Godfather, which would have marked his in-ring return.
"When COVID hit, I agreed to come out to that [Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal] and that was going to be - I was going to come out as Kama, get eliminated, then I was gonna come back as Godfather, get eliminated, and then I was gonna...I don't even remember what, I know that the last thing was Papa Shango and the lights were gonna go out and everybody, whoever was left, [laughs in character], and COVID hit and they didn't do it," he said.
2020 was the only year the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal didn't happen since the match's inception in 2014. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, WWE couldn't have a match (which may have taken place at WrestleMania 36) featuring 20 or so participants in such close proximity.
Last month, Wright revealed who came up with The Godfather's signature 'Ho Train' move.
