Between his 2006 WWE departure and unlikely return to the company in 2012, Paul Heyman flirted with the idea of joining TNA in a creative capacity.

It didn't end up happening, but Heyman at least had a say in the creative direction of one TNA star.

During a recent interview with Rewind, Recap, Relive, former TNA Champion Ken Anderson detailed how Heyman would secretly assist with his promos during his time in Dixie Carter's company.

"I would oftentimes call Paul Heyman and say, 'Hey, here's what they have for me. Can you help me make sense of this?' And he would fire me off an email and rewrite what they had written for me. So he, in a sense, was writing for TNA at one time," Anderson said.

Prior to joining TNA, Anderson had a run in WWE that was marred by injury and controversy, including the time he was supposed to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on The Undertaker (before a misdiagnosed injury gave the spot to Edge).
