Sean Waltman, Hornswoggle, Others Appear At The Wrld On GCW
During a very wild match
Sean Waltman capped off a group of eclectic appearances during Matt Cardona and Joey Janela's crazy brawl at The Wrld on GCW Sunday night in New York City.
Cardona won the match after hitting Janela with Radio Silence through a wooden door laid across steel chairs. Assisting Cardona was Brian Myers, who speared Janela through a door while wearing Edge's "riot cop" outfit from One Night Stand 2006.
Fans began throwing trash into the ring after Cardona's win, before Waltman made his entrance for the save.
Waltman ran off Cardona and Myers while standing tall with Janela in the post-match. Waltman entered to the Run DMC remix of the DX theme.
Other individuals who appeared during the match include "Smart" Mark Sterling, Hornswoggle, Virgil (originally dressed in a Vince McMahon Halloween mask), and Marko Stunt.
The match saw various homages to ECW, including Cardona ripping off Sandman's entrance (complete with "Enter Sandman"), Chelsea Green wearing Francine-inspired attire, Janela giving Green a piledriver, Janela DDT'ing Cardona before striking Tommy Dreamer's arms-out pose, among other spots.
