Sean Waltman Says There Are No Inductors For 2021 WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony

Also details what the process was like

As part of the New World Order's induction (alongside Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash), Sean Waltman shared some of the details of how the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony played out, on his Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast.

Among other unique details, Waltman revealed that there are no inductors for any of those going in.

"There were none," Waltman said. "In 2019 I don't think there were any then either. Were there? Jerry Lawler was out there hosting like he normally would and then it would go to a video package. It was almost like the video package was the induction."

Waltman also detailed how the entire day of filming went. In contrast to previous years, the ceremony has already been taped, and there won't be a live audience.

"I'm not going to lie, you know, they flew us in the night before, we took the COVID test and then they had us up and at 'em at seven A.M.," Waltman revealed. "We were at the building since eight and it was, you know, it was a little rough. Especially coming from the West Coast and having the time difference and my body's all screwed up. I got a little bit of jet lag right now, actually, but whatever.

"So we did a lot of sitting around for a while and then once things started going, they went quick. We started taking the pictures, doing the rehearsal. Which, the rehearsal, it was just walking through to get positions, I guess. If you flubbed your line, or whatever, you could just re-do it. Like, 'hey, take-two,' and then do it again, and they chop it up and edit. They're the best at that. No one's better than WWE at that. I'm sure you won't be surprised to know that I did "take-two" more than once during the speech. Then I was so -- I wanted to make sure I got to thank my wife, Angela and the kids, and so I did that at the beginning and then just, I went, 'now that I got that out of the way [laughs].'"

The 2021 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will air Tuesday, April 6 on Peacock.
