Second Half Of AEW TNT Championship Tournament Brackets Revealed

The field of eight is now set...

The eight wrestlers competing in the tournament to crown the first ever AEW TNT champion were finalized on Wednesday night, after the second half of the bracket was revealed on AEW Dynamite.

Added to the tournament are matches pitting Dustin Rhodes against Kip Sabian, and Colt Cabana against newcomer Lance Archer.

Previously announced for the tournament are Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears, and Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara.

The tournament begins on next week's episode of Dynamite, and will conclude at AEW Double or Nothing on May 23 in Las Vegas. At this time, Double or Nothing has not been postponed or cancelled.

Six of the eight wrestlers involved in the tournament competed on Wednesday night's broadcast. Spears and Guevara defeated Cody and Allin in the evening's main event, after Spears pinned Allin with a roll-up. After the match, Allin knocked Rhodes down out of apparent anger.

Elsewhere on the card, Archer made his in-ring debut for AEW, annihilating Marko Stunt in a one-sided squash. Dustin Rhodes teamed with QT Marshall to defeat two random masked henchmen from The Dark Order.
