Serena Deeb Appears In Vignette During AEW Worlds End Zero Hour

Serena Deeb 'ready to return' to AEW TV

Serena Deeb is on her way back to All Elite Wrestling.

The former NWA Women's World Champion hasn't wrestled since a win over Hollyhood Haley J on the October 18, 2022 taping of AEW Dark: Elevation. Deeb revealed earlier this month that she had suffered "a serious of three unprovoked seizures" at some point after the match which kept her out of the ring.

She has since been cleared for an in-ring return, writing in part in a statement: "I saw my neurologist recently and he told me that I recovered, I'm healthy, and I'm officially cleared to wrestle. That means I am ready to return. Hopefully, the next time you guys see me, I'll be in the ring doing exactly what I do best. I can't wait to wrestle, I can't wait to show you exactly what the Professor, what Serena Deeb is made of. Thank you so much for your time, I appreciate and love every single one of you. Much love."

Deeb resurfaced on AEW programming during the Worlds End Zero Hour, appearing in a vignette. She was initially in a straitjacket but eventually managed to escape to begin her in-ring training. Deeb then announced she was "ready to return."

There was no confirmation about when exactly Deeb will make her All Elite Wrestling return. She has been a part of the promotion since 2020.
