Andrade El Idolo is expected to be on his way out of All Elite Wrestling following the Worlds End pay-per-view on Saturday, December 30.

WrestlePurists has reported that multiple AEW sources have claimed Andrade is expected to finish up with AEW at Worlds End. He may even make a quick return to WWE and some have suggested it could be as soon as the Day 1 edition of WWE Raw on January 1. He is expected to join the company imminently, according to one of WrestlePurists' WWE sources.

Andrade's AEW exit may not have been a smooth situation. Fightful Select has reported that Andrade and AEW are "set to no longer work together" and Andrade made it clear on Wednesday night's Dynamite that he didn't want to be a part of AEW and was planning to leave the promotion. The situation around Andrade's exit was said to be "less than pleasant" and some have even stated to Fightful that a "major disagreement had unfolded."

There have been reports and Triple H has even teased that a former WWE Champion is in the works to appear at WWE Raw Day 1. Fightful noted a WWE source was befuddled over the idea it would be El Idolo but did not outright deny it would be the former WWE United States Champion.

Andrade El Idolo has been a part of AEW since June of 2021, signing with the company following his WWE release. He is set to wrestle Miro at AEW Worlds End in his first AEW pay-per-view match.
