Seth Rollins WWE Super ShowDown Update

Baron Corbin challenges for the Universal title...

Seth Rollins is scheduled to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Baron Corbin at the Super ShowDown event on Friday.

However, it looks like The Beast Slayer will be heading into the event at less than 100% thanks to a chair-fuelled attack from Brock Lesnar on this week's Raw.

Fans the world over seemingly wondered if the Raw angle was a way of getting Seth off the Super ShowDown card - but a report from PWInsider has confirmed the Universal titleholder will be appearing in Saudi Arabia.

For the avoidance of any doubt, here's what PWInsider's report said: "For those who have asked whether Brock Lesnar's attack on Seth Rollins was going to eventually be used as a storyline excuse for Seth Rollins to not appear this Friday on Super Showdown, PWInsider.com has confirmed Rollins will be travelling over and appearing.  The storyline is that Lesnar has promised to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase this Friday on Rollins."

Brock Lesnar appeared to announce on this week's Raw that he will cash in his Money In The Bank contract on Seth during Friday's show.
