Sgt. Slaughter Files Trademarks For Ring Name & 'Cobra Clutch’
Sgt. Slaughter has sought to protect his IP
After WWE repackaged Lacey Evans, Sgt. Slaughter sounded off noting how he is displeased with Evans’ new look and use of the Cobra Clutch as her finisher - a not so subtle homage to the former WWE Champion.
Now it looks like Sarge has taken steps to protect his intellectual property, having filed trademarks for the ring name Sgt. Slaughter, the term ‘Cobra Clutch’, and one for a logo that represents his face, complete with hat, sunglasses, and moustache.
