Sha Samuels Officially Signs With WWE NXT UK

The East End Butcher has arrived

After he was listed as a member of the NXT UK roster on the WWE Performance Center website, all signs pointed to Sha Samuels debuting on WWE's UK brand sooner rather than later.

The East End Butcher debuted on last night's edition of NXT UK in a losing effort to Joe Coffey. Samuels was initially introduced as Ed Harvey, but he picked up a microphone during the six-minute match and said he didn't come to WWE to be Ed Harvey and everyone knows he's Sha Samuels.

Shortly after the match, Samuels announced that he had officially signed with WWE. He tweeted: "Oi Oi!!! I have officially signed with the @WWE. It's been a really long journey to get here. Full of ups, downs and loads of hard work. But the proper hard graft starts now!! EAST x NXT: UK."

Samuels has been wrestling on the European independent scene since 2004 and has competed in over 600 matches in promotions like RevPro, Insane Championship Wrestling, wXw and OTT.
