Shane "Swerve" Strickland Interested In Joining AEW

Strickland to AEW?

Another former WWE Superstar may well be AEW bound.

Speaking on Casual Conversations, Shane "Swerve" Strickland revealed he would be interested in joining All Elite Wrestling.

"I'm definitely interested. I'm not opposed to go anywhere. It has to be a discussion made. Things have to be done. We just saw Cody Rhodes leave, that's insane. You can expect me to go anywhere," Strickland said.

AEW have reportedly been interested in Strickland since he was released by WWE in November of 2021 and the company inquired about his status "very early."

The former NXT North American Champion is also believed to be in talks with AEW and he is expected to sign with the promotion "at some point" along with Jeff Hardy and Buddy Matthews.

Strickland has been active since his WWE non-compete clause expired earlier this year and he has made appearances for the likes of PROGRESS Wrestling, DEFY and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He is also set to reunite with his former Hit Row faction mates, B-Fab, Top Dolla and Ashante "Thee" Adonis in March at an MCW Wrestling show.
