While he may no longer be a WWE Superstar, Shane 'Swerve' Strickland will be in action on the WWE Network soon.

PROGRESS Wrestling, one of two British indy promotions affiliated with WWE, announced on Monday that Strickland would return to the company at the upcoming Chapter 129 show from the Electric Ballroom in London, England.

"The first announcement for Chapter 129 is as big as they come. He's known by many names but one thing is crystal clear & that is that whoever he faces it will be one hell of an encounter. @swerveconfident returns to PROGRESS Wrestling and The Electric Ballroom on Feb 20th," PROGRESS tweeted.

Strickland previously performed sporadically for PROGRESS from 2016 until 2018, facing the likes of Mark Andrews, Will Ospreay and Moustache Mountain's Tyler Bate and Trent Seven.

PROGRESS are just the latest indy promotion to have booked Strickland and he will be in action for Wrestling Revolver, TERMINUS and OTT Wrestling in the coming months.

Strickland previously performed in WWE but he was released by the company in November of 2021 along with Hit Row faction-mates Top Dolla and Ashante 'Thee' Adonis only weeks after their fellow stablemate B-Fab had been let go.
