Shawn Michaels Appears After WWE NXT 2.0 Relaunch Goes Off The Air

The live fans at this week's NXT 2.0 relaunch got a special treat following the conclusion of the television broadcast as Shawn Michaels made an unadvertised appearance.

The first episode in a new era of NXT ended with the wedding of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell which, in very non-wrestling fashion, largely went off without a hitch. As the show went off the air, Johnny Gargano got on the microphone to cut a promo about the state of play on the NXT brand.

The former North American Champion hyped up the future of NXT while also praising the talent that was on the roster. Gargano was assisted by wife Candice LeRae and Cameron Grimes in his praise for the division. 

As the promo came to an end, WWE Hall Of Famer and NXT Producer Shawn Michaels made his way ringside, giving a signature D-Generation X crotch-chop to send the crowd in attendance home happy, as seen in the photo below which was posted on social media by @runninjay.

Michaels has officially worked backstage on NXT alongside best friend and Executive Producer Triple H since November 2018.
