Shawn Michaels Hoping To Launch WWE NXT Europe By The End Of 2023

Latest on WWE NXT Europe from Shawn Michaels

Shawn Michaels has provided an update on NXT Europe and the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative hopes WWE's European brand will be up and running by the end of 2023.

"Things are still in the organisational stage and we are hoping we will have that up and running by the end of 2023. I'm really learning. It isn't something you just throw together, especially if you want to set it up for success. I think everyone would feel a bit more comfortable if it takes a little bit longer to make sure we cross every t and dot every I, but still looking forward to trying to make that a reality by the end of 2023," Michaels told the Daily Mail.

It was announced after NXT UK was shut down in August 2022 that WWE had plans to launch NXT Europe in 2023, although few details have been revealed about the new brand since then which has led to fears that it will never get off the ground.

Triple H announced earlier this year that more would be revealed about NXT Europe this summer, which could potentially coincide with Money in the Bank. The pay-per-view is set to take place at The O2 in London, England on July 1.
