Shawn Michaels Provides Update On Triple H's WWE NXT Status

Shawn Michaels has commented on Triple H's WWE NXT status, telling him to 'stay away' and focus on his health. 

WWE announced in September that Triple H had undergone a 'successful procedure for a cardiac event' and was recovering. The Game has since been spotted on WWE duties, notably appearing in a video of a tour of the ongoing construction work on WWE's new headquarters.

Michaels, Triple H's best friend and the man running the day-to-day of NXT in his absence, has noted that he has not yet returned to NXT in any capacity.

In an interview with Jim Varsallone, Michaels said: "Right now, for me, I feel like an old nanny. I’ve told him: 'I don’t care how good you are, you stay away, get healthy, concentrate on you.’

"The thing is, he put in a fabulous team here and that’s why it’s able to continue on without him because he put phenomenal people in place. I’m just the guy that gets to expedite everything and run traffic so to speak. The team he put in place was prepared for these kind of days and we want him to get healthy. He doesn’t have anything to worry about, we will be here when he gets back."
