Sheamus is off WWE programming following Survivor Series. It was announced by Cathy Kelley during a backstage segment with Bron Breakker on Monday Night Raw that Sheamus sustained a cracked rib at the November 30 pay-per-view. Ludwig Kaiser then interrupted and took credit for the injury.
Sheamus revealed following Survivor Series that he was covered in scratches and bruises. If Sheamus is dealing with a legitimate cracked rib is unknown, though.
Ludwig Kaiser and Bron Breakker look set to continue feuding in Sheamus' absence. The three competitors faced each other in a widely-praised Triple Threat at Survivor Series which Bron Breakker won following a Spear to Sheamus.
Sheamus has been a part of WWE since 2007. The 46-year-old signed a new deal with WWE earlier this year, although it is unknown how long he is under contract for.
During his time with WWE, Sheamus has become a four-time world champion, five-time tag team champion with Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), and three-time United States Champion. The only title Sheamus hasn't won in WWE is the Intercontinental Championship.
