Sheamus Teases He Has 'Big Things' Planned For 2024

Sheamus has been on the WWE injured list for a while

WWE star Sheamus has been on the shelf for the past seven months with what was described as a 'really bad shoulder injury', his last match a loss to Edge on the August 18, 2023 episode of SmackDown.

The Liverpool FC fan showed up at the Premier League Fan Fest on Sunday April 7 and commented on his future:

"Seven months I've been off from WWE but I want to tell everybody, big things are coming for Sheamus this year! Huge things are coming for Sheam-O," the Celtic Warrior said.

Last year, it was reported that the 46-year-old's WWE contract was due to expire in Q1 of 2024. However, it is expected that WWE will extend his contract due to time off for injuries.

There have been several rumours and reports of the Irishman's impending return in recent months, but he remains sidelined.

Sheamus has pretty much seen and done it all during a WWE career that began in 2009. However, the former multi-time world champion has yet to win the Intercontinental Title, the only championship he needs to add to his résumé in order to become a Grand Slam champion.
