Shotzi Expected To Return To WWE Main Roster Soon

Though she is currently competing in NXT, Shotzi is expected to make her WWE main roster return sooner rather than later.

According to Fightful Select, Shotzi was actually supposed to make her return in the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match, but was replaced by the returning Alexa Bliss instead.

Shotzi had been present for match rehearsals on Friday, but was pulled from the bout and replaced by Bliss on the day of the show. Shotzi's last main roster appearance took place in the 2024 women's Royal Rumble match.

Though some felt bad about Shotzi's main roster return not happening this past weekend, it won't be long until she's back on either Raw or SmackDown. Fightful Select noted that, though she's been in NXT of late, Shotzi is signed to a main roster deal and will be on her way back in due course.

The 32-year-old former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion missed most of 2024 after tearing her ACL in a match with then-NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria during the February 13 NXT television taping.

She returned to NXT on the December 10 episode and wrestled her first match back on the December 31 show (taped December 19).

It was said that Shotzi has been getting 'reps' in during this most recent NXT run ahead of going back to the main roster.
