Triple H Endorses Joe Hendry Following WWE Royal Rumble Appearance

Joe Hendry appeared in the 2025 men’s WWE Royal Rumble match, and has earned a ringing endorsement from Triple H for his performance.

The TNA World Champion was given a hero's welcome by the Indianapolis crowd, and certainly left an impression on WWE CCO Triple H, who posted a picture to X/Twitter of himself with Hendry in Gorilla, with the caption simply stating “I believe”.

Fans were hopeful of a Hendry Rumble appearance following the official declaration of a partnership between WWE and TNA, and the ‘Local Hero’ himself suggested he could return to WWE ‘at any time’ during a digital exclusive, calling out two heavyweight names:

“It’s unusual for Joe Hendry to be at a loss for words, but say his name, and he appeared here in Indianapolis, at the biggest Royal Rumble of all time,” Joe Hendry said. “Roman Reigns, congrats, you threw Joe Hendry over the top, and I’m willing to bet this isn’t the last time that you and I cross paths.

“But before I go, I do want to share a bit of knowledge that was bestowed on me by a one John Cena. He gave me four words, and it was, ‘Fortune favours the bold.’ So here I am, boldly saying John Cena’s name.”

Hendry continued:

“We are in an era where anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling. You saw tonight, if enough people say his name, he will appear. Anywhere, any time, any show.”
