Sid Eudy - who wrestled as Sycho Sid, Sid Vicious and Sid Justice, among other names, during his pro wrestling career - is to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Paul "Triple H" Levesque has announced that Sycho Sid will be inducted into the 2026 legacy class of the WWE Hall of Fame, tweeting: "No matter which moniker you knew him by, Sid's intensity was palpable across the ring and through your TV screen. A multi-time champion in @WWE and WCW, and a two-time #WrestleMania main event, it's a pleasure to announce that he will take his rightful place in the 2026 Legacy Class of the #WWEHOF."

Sid's son, Gunnar Eudy, commented on his father's WWE Hall of Fame induction, posting on Instagram: "It’s official. My father, Sycho Sid Vicious, is going into the WWE Hall of Fame. The Master and the Ruler of the World is finally getting his flowers. Proud to be his son and to carry that legacy forward. The Hall of Fame just got a whole lot more vicious."

Sid Vicious joins AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon, Demolition and Dennis Rodman in the 2026 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony for the class of 2026 will take place on April 17 at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada over WrestleMania 42 weekend.

Standing at six feet nine inches tall, Sid Eudy began his pro wrestling career in Memphis in 1987 as Lord Humongous, while he began wrestling as Sid Vicious in World Class Championship Wrestling soon after.

Eudy headed to WCW in 1989, joining the Four Horsemen, before he jumped ship to the WWF in 1991, where he was renamed Sid Justice. Sid would go on to main event WrestleMania VIII opposite Hulk Hogan and exit the company soon after.

For the remainder of the 1990s, Sid would primarily swap between the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling, but he also had runs in ECW and USWA. He would become a two-time WWF Champion and two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion before his full-time career came to an end following a gruesome leg injury in 2001, although he would sporadically wrestle until his final match in 2017.

In addition to those accomplishments, Sid headlined another WrestleMania in WrestleMania 13 against The Undertaker. He holds the rare accomplishment of only competing in the main event of WrestleMania when he did wrestle at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Sid would battle cancer for several years in his later years until he passed away in August 2024 at the age of 63.

Sid's son Gunnar is planning to hold a memorial show for Sycho Sid later this year on August 29 in West Memphis, Arkansas. All profits from the show will be donated to a rescue dog charity, with Gunnar noting Sid loved the animals "with everything he had."
