SmackDown Tag Team Title Match Confirmed For WWE Extreme Rules 2021

A rematch from last week's SmackDown

The Street Profits will get another opportunity to take the SmackDown Tag Team Championships from The Usos at WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

WWE announced on Thursday that the two teams would do battle on Sunday 26 September on pay-per-view, having met in a Tag Team Title match last week on Friday Night SmackDown.

The Usos defended the gold against Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins at Madison Square Garden last week and remained champions after the match, although they lost by disqualification when Roman Reigns interfered on their behalf, locking Ford in the Guillotine.

The Street Profits have involved themselves in The Bloodline's business since SummerSlam, coming to Finn Balor's aid as he was attacked by the Universal Champion and Jimmy and Jey Uso.

Ford and Dawkins will now get another chance to reclaim the Tag Team Titles that they lost to Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode at the beginning of 2021.

The SmackDown Tag Team Title match is added to card that also sees Reigns defend his Universal Championship against 'Demon' Finn Balor, while Becky Lynch puts her SmackDown Women's Title on the line against Bianca Belair.
