"Smell Ya Later" - Kyle O'Reilly Comments On WWE NXT Departure

O'Reilly has seemingly departed WWE NXT

Kyle O'Reilly has taken to social media to comment on his departure from WWE NXT, telling fans that his exit from the brand is not necessarily a goodbye.

O'Reilly's contract with WWE is reportedly set to expire very soon, something that was seemingly acknowledged this week on NXT as the former Undisputed Era was heavily defeated and written off television by Von Wagner.

After the show, O'Reilly came down to the ringside area after the show to interact with fans and say farewell alongside Johnny Gargano, who is also reportedly departing WWE NXT this week.

Taking to Twitter, O'Reilly acknowledged the outpouring of love and support from his fans in WWE NXT and promised that moving on to the next phase of his career did not constitute a permanent goodbye.

O'Reilly wrote: "Truly overwhelmed by all the love and heartfelt messages. By no means does this mean goodbye… just smell ya later."

Many fans are speculating that O'Reilly will make the switch to AEW and link up with former Undisputed Era teammates Adam Cole and Bobby Fish.
