Special Entrance Planned For AEW Revolution

Special entrance to take place at AEW Revolution

One particular talent will have a special entrance at All Elite Wrestling's Revolution pay-per-view.

In news that will surprise few, Darby Allin revealed to Fanatic View's Walt Chism and Mike Peticca that Sting will have a special entrance for his retirement match on Sunday, March 3.

"I got a special thing planned for Sting's final entrance that I've been working on. So, we'll see how everything plays out in Greensboro," Allin said.

Sting's final match will see The Icon team with Darby Allin and defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks. Sting wanted Matthew and Nicholas Jackson for his retirement match after having so much fun with the tag team during this trios match at Forbidden Door 2022. That match saw the Dudes with Attitudes (Sting, Darby Allin, and Shingo Takagi) defeat Bullet Club (The Young Bucks and El Phantasmo).

Darby also said during the interview he would like to see Sting come down from the rafters, something that happened on the February 28 episode of Dynamite as Sting made the save for Ric Flair. This allowed Sting and Darby Allin to stand tall on Sting's final Dynamite as an in-ring performer.
