SPOILER: Attempt Made To Use Pyro As A Weapon During AEW Collision Taping

Wrestler almost set on fire during AEW Collision taping

A wrestler will find themselves almost set on fire during the March 2 edition of AEW Collison on Saturday night.

All Elite Wrestling taped this week's Collision following Dynamite on Wednesday night and Buddy Matthews was set to compete in a squash match on the show. Before the match could begin, though, Matthews was attacked by Mark Briscoe and the Sussex County Chicken sent the House of Black member crashing through a table following a dive from a chair to the outside.

Briscoe then attempted to use a spike on Matthews but he was stopped by the rest of House of Black. Briscoe used a chair to fend them off and this led to Briscoe and Matthews brawling up the ramp, at which point Mark tried to set up Matthews so he could burn him with the stage's pyro. This was too much for AEW security, however, and they stopped Briscoe from setting Buddy on fire. House of Black then managed to escape as Mark channelled his inner Kane powers to make all the pyro on the stage go off.

Mark Briscoe has been in a programme with House of Black in recent weeks ever since they laid him out before the Escape the Cage Elimination Match on the January 27 episode of Collision. This led to a singles match between Mark Briscoe and Brody King on February 10 that was won by the House of Black member. King and Julia Hart laid out Briscoe following the match, leaving him covered in his own blood.

Briscoe returned on last week's Collision, fighting off House of Black following Malakai Black's win over Bryan Keith.

House of Black have previously received criticism in AEW and they rejected the claim they don't do jobs earlier this year.
