SPOILER: New AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door Match Revealed During Rampage

Adam Cole's match will be made official during the Friday, June 23 edition of AEW Rampage. 

The latest edition of Rampage was taped following a live episode of Dynamite on Wednesday, June 21 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Adam Cole headed to the ring during the taping but before he could say anything, the former ROH World Champion was interrupted by MJF, who was making his first-ever appearance on Rampage. 

MJF mocked Cole by calling him "partner", after the two men were drawn together for the upcoming Blind Eliminator Tournament. MJF then revealed he secured a match for Cole at Forbidden Door... against "Filthy" Tom Lawlor. Lawlor and his Team Filthy faction mate Royce Isaacs then laid out Cole while MJF spent an age "making the save" for his tag team partner. 

MJF left the ring with Team Filthy to end the segment, telling Cole to have fun at Forbidden Door. 

Rampage will be Lawlor's AEW debut. Isaacs, meanwhile, wrestled for the promotion as an enhancement talent on Dark and Dark: Elevation in 2021.
