SPOILER On Legend Planned For WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

A hometown legend will be making an appearance at the second edition of the rebooted Saturday Night's Main Event.

WrestleVotes has reported on WrestleVotes Radio that Shawn Michaels will be appearing on the January 25 special from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

"We can confirm that there are plans for San Antonio's own Shawn Michaels to be present and appear on the show. We are told HBK likely won't have any physicality to his involvement, but WWE is planning on utilising the legend in his hometown next weekend," WrestleVotes said.

Shawn Michaels is seldom utilised on the main roster. HBK continues to be heavily involved with WWE, though, as the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative. This role ultimately puts him in charge of WWE NXT.

Another WWE Hall of Famer planned for Saturday Night's Main Event is Hulk Hogan, who could be appearing on the show only days after he is involved with Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th president of the United States.

Matches already announced for Saturday Night's Main Event are Gunther vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Title and Bron Breakker vs. Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship.
