FULL SPOILERS BELOW
AEW Collision Maximum Carnage opened with Hangman Page defeating Christopher Daniels in their violent Texas Death Match, a match that appears to have written Christopher Daniels off TV.
The match was a violent affair and Daniels was quickly covered in blood after barbed wire entered the fray and he was powerbombed through chairs. Daniels' night then only got worse as he was put through a table but he managed to fight back, hitting the Best Moonsault Ever and Angel's Wings. Page managed to survive and fought back with a Deadeye on a chair which caused Daniels' left arm to go limp. A Buckshot Lariat from behind followed and Daniels was unable to beat the 10 count.
Post-match, Page added insult to injury as he hit the Angel's Wings on Daniels.
A Toni Storm promo followed the match in which Storm said she would introduce herself to Mariah May at AEW Collision Homecoming. Tony Schiavone tried to explain they had met already but Storm interrupted and told him to say, "It's Toni Time!"
Following a Hurt Syndicate promo in which they announced they would challenge Private Party for the AEW World Tag Team Titles on next week's Dynamite, the Undisputed Kingdom of Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong picked up a win over Shane Taylor Promotions. Shane Taylor attacked Adam Cole and co. post-match until Daniel Garcia made the save. This left Cole, O'Reilly, and Strong all staring at the TNT Championship.
A backstage promo saw Will Ospreay call out Kenny Omega for a chat on next week's Dynamite which was followed by Lance Archer and Brian Cage defeating Top Flight. Lio Rush and Action Andretti attacked Dante and Darius Martin after the match.
The issues between The Acclaimed also continued on Collision as Max Caster said in an in-ring segment that their issues stem from Anthony Bowens' failure to recognise Max as the best wrestler alive. Bowens fired back by calling Caster a selfish, cocky piece of sh*t which brought out Billy Gunn to try and calm down the situation.
Max Caster revealed that he never liked Billy Gunn and said Daddy Ass had only ridden their coattails as AEW Word Trios Champions. Caster then gave Bowens an ultimatum of choosing between Max and Daddy Ass. In a move that will surprise few, Bowens chose Billy Gunn as he flipped off Caster. This prompted Max to say he was splitting up The Acclaimed before Bowens and Gunn scissored and hugged.
Next on the show, Kazuchika Okada defeated Tomohiro Ishii to retain the AEW Continental Championship. Okada had to use underhanded tactics to win as he distracted the referee with the ring bell and took advantage by hitting Ishii with a Low Blow. Okada then hit a Rainmaker for the pin.
Dustin Rhodes picked up a win over Adam Priest before Julia Hart defeated Harley Cameron, who still had stains around her eyes from Hart's ink. It was then announced that Samoa Joe will face Nick Wayne on next week's Dynamite.
Before the main event, Chris Jericho attacked Powerhouse Hobbs which left the former TNT Champion questionable for the 12-man tag team match.
The match ultimately began with the Death Riders and the Learning Tree vs. Cope, FTR, and The Outrunners. The heels dominated much of the early portion of the match but the babyfaces were eventually able to fight back, with Rated FTR and the Death Riders being taken out of the equation after they brawled to the back.
This brought the match down to the Learning Tree vs. The Outrunners until Powerhouse Hobbs' music filled the arena and he proceeded to take out the Learning Tree. Following "MEAT" chants for Hobbs and Big Bill, Hobbs and The Outrunners worked to get rid of the former Big Cass and Chris Jericho. This left Bryan Keith easy prey for Powerhouse Hobbs, who picked up the win following a Spinebuster.
Collision Maximum Carnage ended with Powerhouse Hobbs and The Outrunners celebrating.
