Former TNA President and current owner of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Scott D'Amore was backstage at Wednesday night's special Maximum Carnage edition of AEW Dynamite in Cincinnati, Ohio according to PWInsider and Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp. Why D'Amore was backstage at the event is unknown.

D'Amore formed Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling in 2024 following his firing as TNA President. Multiple AEW talents worked the indy promotion's first shows, including Konosuke Takeshita, Don Callis, and Ricochet. Takeshita even defended the AEW International Title in the promotion against Josh Alexander.

D'Amore wasn't the only name backstage at Dynamite Maximum Carnage, with Fightful Select further noting that Gisele Shaw was at the taping from the Andrew J. Brody Music Center. Shaw is currently a free agent, having been granted her release from TNA in September 2024.

Bryan Danielson was at Dynamite Maximum Carnage too. Danielson continues to work for All Elite Wrestling following the expiry of his talent contract with the promotion.

Local independent wrestling talent Lord Crewe worked as security in a segment with Powerhouhse Hobbs on Dynamite.
