Gisele Shaw has been granted her release from TNA Wrestling, ending a two-and-a-half year run with the company.

A report from Fightful Select suggested that Shaw had been granted her release, whilst a follow-up from PWInsider stated that whilst Shaw has finished her contracted dates for the organisation she has not yet departed the company, although Shaw’s exit ‘is going to happen’.

Shaw made a handful of appearances for TNA/IMPACT in 2018, before signing a full-time deal with the promotion in 2022. ‘The Quintessential Diva’ recently made her return to England’s RevPro promotion during All In Wembley weekend at the end of August, with PWInsider’s report stating that there were some in All Elite Wrestling who were interested in Shaw before she signed with TNA.

It’s expected that Shaw will be a regular for the recently relaunched Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, helmed by former TNA President Scott D’Amore. Shaw was booked for MLP’s upcoming Forged In Excellence shows in Windsor, Ontario on October 19 and October 20 prior to her TNA exit. Shaw will be joined on the shows by TNA stars Josh Alexander, KUSHIDA, and Jake Something, amongst others, whilst Mauro Ranallo will handle commentary duties.
