SPOILER: Popular Star Returns On AEW Collision To Set Up All In Match

A big return and a new match set for All In on AEW Collision

With All Elite Wrestling preparing for All In on Sunday, the promotion taped the August 26 edition of AEW Collision following a live episode of Dynamite on Wednesday night at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.

The taping opened up with a promo from Jack Perry as the former Jungle Boy tried to retire the FTW Championship. Perry was stopped in his tracks, though, as HOOK made his long-awaited AEW return and put his former tag team partner through a table. HOOK vs. Jack Perry was then made official for All In, with the biggest show in AEW history set to take place at London's Wembley Stadium on Sunday, August 27.

That wasn't HOOK's only involvement on Collision as he was revealed as the mystery partner in the all-star eight-man tag team match. HOOK teamed with Sting, CM Punk, and Darby Allin to defeat Jay White, Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage, and Luchasaurus.

HOOK had been off AEW TV since he dropped the FTW Championship to Jack Perry on the July 19 edition of Dynamite, a match which ended HOOK's undefeated streak. Perry has since looked to disparage the legacy of ECW, which saw him pick up a win over Rob Van Dam.

Perry and HOOK were previously allies until the former AEW World Tag Team Champion turned on HOOK at Forbidden Door in June.
