SPOILER: Popular Talent Returns At ROH TV Taping

A popular talent is back in Ring of Honor!

A popular talent made their return to Ring of Honor at the promotion's TV taping on Wednesday night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin following a live edition of AEW Dynamite.

Samoa Joe was in action in a match that will air on Thursday, April 20 and the ROH World Television Champion went one-on-one with Colt Cabana, who competed in his first Ring of Honor match since Death Before Dishonor in July 2022 where he defeated Anthony Henry. Cabana was unable to continue his small ROH winning streak, though, and he lost by submission after Samoa Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch.

If the match was for the ROH World Television Title is unknown.

Wednesday night was also Cabana's first match in a Tony Khan ring since he made his AEW return on the November 2 edition of Dynamite and unsuccessfully challenged Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. Cabana was expected to wrestle at December's Final Battle pay-per-view but he missed the show through injury.

While he was out of action, Cabana returned to his producing duties in All Elite Wrestling. He made his in-ring return on the indies in mid-March for Timebomb Pro Wrestling.

Cabana has had several runs in Ring of Honor since 2002 and he is a two-time ROH World Tag Team Champion, having held the belts with former friend CM Punk.
