SPOILER: WWE Main Roster Talents Make Surprise NXT Return

Surprise return on WWE NXT

Two WWE main roster talents will make their surprise returns to NXT on next week's episode.

WWE taped the February 20 episode of NXT on Tuesday night following a live episode from the WWE Performance Center and next week's episode will feature a number one contender's match for the NXT Tag Team Titles of Chase U's Andre Chase & Duke Hudson vs. Nathan Frazer & Axiom.

Chase U ultimately won the match at Tuesday night's taping following a series of pinfall exchanges. The two tag teams then showed each other respect after the match, only for all four competitors and Chase U's Riley Osborne to suddenly be laid out by Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of The Good Brothers in a surprise attack. Gallows and Anderson then stood tall to end the segment before heading to the back.

Gallows and Anderson are utilised on Friday Night SmackDown as part of The OC with Michin. AJ Styles was previously a part of the faction but he has quietly exited The OC since his WWE return.

The Good Brothers have a brief history in WWE NXT, having first competed on the brand in 2019. They made a one-night return to NXT in October 2022, teaming with Cameron Grimes to defeat The Schism.

WWE opted to tape next week's edition of NXT as key people from the brand are scheduled to travel to Australia to help with tryouts during Elimination Chamber week.
