Spoilers For The Christmas Day Episode Of WWE SmackDown

WWE is hoping fans will tune in for the Christmas Day edition of Friday Night SmackDown and three title matches have been announced for the show. In a rematch from TLC, Roman Reigns will face off against Kevin Owens inside a steel cage for the Universal Championship. Sami Zayn will also put the Intercontinental Title on the line against Big E in a Lumberjack Match and Charlotte Flair & Asuka will defend the Women's Tag Team Championship. 

The show was taped last night and we have full spoilers from the tapings. 

In the main event, Big E defeated Sami Zayn to capture the Intercontinental Championship. The Master Strategist tried to flee from the match after the lumberjacks started fighting, but he was stopped by Apollo Crews, The Street Profits and Chad Gable. They proceeded to carry Zayn back to the ring and Big E put him away with the Big Ending. Confetti then rained down from the ceiling and the babyfaces hoisted Big E on to their shoulders to end Christmas Day on a positive note. Sami Zayn could be seen crying at ringside. 

Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens in the opening contest. Within the official preview of the match, WWE claimed: "there will be no one and nothing to help either Superstar." This ultimately wasn't the case as Jey Uso handcuffed Owens to the cage and Reigns walked out to pick up the win. 

Following the Universal Championship match, Charlotte Flair and Asuka headed to the ring to address the crowd. They were quickly interrupted by Bayley, Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks and Carmella, however, and a Triple Threat Elimination Tag Team Match took place after the break. The bout was Charlotte Flair & Asuka vs. Bayley & Carmella vs. Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair. Banks pinned Bayley for the first elimination and Flair pinned Belair for the victory. 

Daniel Bryan also faced Jey Uso on the show. Uso jumped the former WWE Champion before the bell and the ensuing match was said to be very good. Bryan ultimately picked up the win.
