Spoilers: Former AEW And WWE Stars Debut At IMPACT Tapings

New faces in IMPACT Wrestling

IMPACT Wrestling held their latest set of tapings on October 21 and October 22 in Sam’s Town, Las Vegas, where two new faces made an ‘impact’ on the shows.

Former AEW star Alan 'Five' Angels returned to the company as part of the X Division Title Tournament, but was defeated by Trey Miguel in the opening round of the tournament. However, Angels' work was not done, as the former Dark Order member seemingly aligned himself with Violent By Design, assisting leader Eric Young in a beatdown on Sami Calihan, with Young and Calihan’s match being declared no contest as a result.

Angels wasn’t the only new name to join VBD, as former Ascension member Konnor - now known as Big Kon - also joined the group at the tapings, marking the former NXT Tag Team Champion’s IMPACT return, after last appearing in January 2022.

There’s no word as of yet if these were just one-off appearances or if the two will be running with VBD in IMPACT on a more regular basis going forward.
