SPOILERS: Huge ROH World Title Match & More Set For AEW Grand Slam During Rampage Taping

Who will Claudio Castagnoli face at AEW Grand Slam?

A huge ROH World Championship match was set for Dynamite Grand Slam during Wednesday's taping of Rampage.

On the show that will air on Friday, September 16, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta cut a promo, during which The Swiss Superman said the Blackpool Combat Club would have two world champions next week following the AEW World Title match between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson. This prompted Chris Jericho to rise from the commentary table, though, and Lionheart stated the one place he had never been champion was in Ring Of Honor and he wanted his eighth world title. Jericho then challenged Castagnoli to an ROH World Title match on next week's Dynamite, which Claudio accepted.

Sting will also be in action at Grand Slam on the Rampage portion of the show. Following Darby Allin's win over Matt Hardy on Rampage, Brody King attacked Hardy and then challenged Sting and Darby to a No DQ Match. The babyfaces accepted and they will face off with King and Buddy Matthews next week.

Jade Cargill will put the TBS Title on the line too against Diamante following a challenge on Rampage. A debut was also teased as Diamante mentioned she would not be alone at Rampage Grand Slam.

In other events on Rampage, Penelope Ford defeated Willow Nightingale, Ethan Page overcame Danhausen, and Samoa Joe retained the ROH World Television Title against Josh Woods. Woods and Tony Nese then attacked Joe after the match before Wardlow made the save. The two champions will team together against Tony Nese and Josh Woods at Grand Slam.
