SPOILERS: Main Event Of WWE NXT Great American Bash Revealed

The main event has been set for WWE NXT Great American Bash

The main event of WWE NXT's upcoming Great American Bash special on July 5 has been revealed.

WWE's developmental brand held TV tapings at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday, June 8. PWInsider reported that during the taping for what is assumed to be the June 14 show, Bron Breakker defeated Duke Hudson. The NXT Champion's celebrations were then interrupted by Cameron Grimes, who challenged Breakker to an NXT Title match at Great American Bash.

The Technical Savage followed up with a promo about how Breakker has been given more than Grimes before he claimed nepotism has helped the NXT Champion get where he is today since everyone recognises Rick Steiner but no one recognises Grimes' dad.

Grimes was previously NXT North American Champion but he dropped the gold to Carmelo Hayes at In Your House on June 4. This will be the first time Grimes has challenged for the NXT Championship.

Bron Breakker is currently in his second reign as NXT Champion, having regained the championship from Dolph Ziggler on the post-WrestleMania 38 episode of Monday Night Raw.
