SPOILERS: Main Event Of WWE NXT Halloween Havoc Revealed

The main event of Halloween Havoc was set at WWE NXT's tapings on September 14. 

The developmental brand filmed the September 20 and September 27 episodes of NXT at the tapings and former NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov will return on next week's show. On that episode, he confronted JD McDonagh and Bron Breakker after the former Jordan Devlin defeated Tyler Bate to become the number one contender for the NXT Championship.

Following this, Dragunov cut a promo on the September 27 episode that was interrupted by JD McDonagh and Bron Breakker. McDonagh suggested that he and Dragunov go one-on-one in a new number one contender's match. Instead, though, Bron Breakker mentioned he was good at maths because of his Steiner heritage and he knows he has a 33 1/3 chance of beating both Dragunov and McDonagh at Halloween Havoc. As a result, the Triple Threat was set for Halloween Havoc and Breakker will put the NXT Title on the line against McDonagh and Dragunov. 

According to recent reports, Halloween Havoc will be NXT's first TakeOver event in over a year. It is set to take place on October 22. 

Breakker is currently in his second reign as NXT Champion. He regained the title on the Raw after WrestleMania 38 from Dolph Ziggler.
