Stardom Matches Set For NJPW Wrestle Grand Slam In MetLife Dome

Giulia and more will be in action

Stardom matches will be broadcast on NJPW World for the first time this weekend at Wrestle Grand Slam in MetLife Dome and which stars will be in action has been revealed.

On the September 4 pre-show, Maika and Lacy C will face off against Momo Watanabe and Saya Kamitani. Watanabe and Kamitani will then be in action again on September 5 against Artist of Stardom Tag Team Champions Giulia and Syuri.

Syuri's Wrestle Grand Slam match will take place less than 24 hours after her 5 Star GP bout against Utami Hayashishita.

Stardom has held several matches at NJPW's dome shows since New Japan's parent company, Bushiroad, bought the women's promotion in 2019. Stardom wrestlers Mayu Iwatani and Arisa Hoshiki took on Giulia and the late Hana Kimura at Wrestle Kingdom 14 in a dark match. Three more Stardom dark matches then took place at Wrestle Kingdom 15.

NJPW finalised the Wrestle Grand Slam in MetLife Dome card earlier this week. An IWGP United States Title match between champion Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kota Ibushi will main event night one. September 5 will then be main evented by Shingo Takagi vs. EVIL for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.
