Stephanie McMahon: Giving Back Has Always Been Part Of The WWE Brand

McMahon says WWE doesn't always seek recognition for giving back

Stephanie McMahon says that 'giving back' has always been part of the foundation of WWE, but the promotion doesn't necessarily always highlight exactly when it does so.

Sitting down for a recent interview, WWE's Chief Brand Officer was asked about the company's commitment to giving back, with McMahon saying WWE is always looking to do so but isn't after recognition for the acts.

McMahon notes that WWE have been partnered with Make-A-Wish since the charity's inception 40 years ago, as an example.

Speaking with Kyle Stevens of Thrive Global, McMahon said: "“I’ve grown up in WWE. Giving back has always been a part of our brand. We just didn’t always talk about it.

“Times have changed so much. For me - for WWE - we have so much reach around the world. I actually feel it is a responsibility for us to promote pro-social messaging. We have four different pillars to giving back. We have a partnership with Make-A-Wish that’s lasted nearly 40 years now, almost since their inception."
