Stephanie Vaquer Becomes Double Champion At WWE NXT Roadblock

Stephanie Vaquer is a double champion in WWE NXT, having defeated Giulia for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Roadblock on Tuesday night inside the Theater at Madison Square Garden.

Giulia and Vaquer faced off in an 11-minute match in the main event of NXT Roadblock. The former CMLL star secured the win following three SSB Backbreakers and Roadblock went off the air with Vaquer holding up both the NXT Women's North American Title and NXT Women's Championship while confetti rained down from the ceiling.

Vaquer's win ended Giulia's NXT Women's Title reign after 63 days. Giulia had been champion since defeating Roxanne Perez for the gold at New Year's Evil on January 7.

Stephanie Vaquer was expected to win at NXT Roadblock, with reports noting before the show that Giulia was dealing with an injury issue and she would be taking some time off after dropping the NXT Women's Championship.

Vaquer was already NXT Women's North American Champion, having beaten Fallon Henley for the belt at Vengeance Day on February 15.
