Steve Austin Ponders WWE Fantasy Match With 'Underrated' Roman Reigns

"He’s a great performer, and sometimes he’s a little underrated. He’s phenomenal."

Steve Austin has named Roman Reigns as a current WWE talent he would love to face in a fantasy match-up, describing the Universal champion as 'a little underrated'.

Reigns is currently enjoying arguably the best work of his career so far, aligning with Paul Heyman and running the show on Smackdown as 'The Head Of The Table'.

The Tribal Chief's work has caught the attention of 'Stone Cold', who has named Reigns as one of the current superstars in this generation of talent he wishes he had the chance to get in the ring with.

Speaking to Wrestle Inc, Austin said: "There’s a lot of guys I wish I got to do business with. There’s generational gaps, but you always have those fantasy match-ups. You see what a guy’s doing and you think, ‘I could have done something with that guy. We could’ve made something really memorable'.

"I think [Roman’s] doing great work. He’s a great performer, and sometimes he’s a little underrated. He’s phenomenal."
